Małe Ciche is one of the smallest villages in Podhale region, lost in a valley among the Tatra woods. The character of the village is best described by its name (literally: small and quiet). The village is visited in summer by people who want to get away from it all and it is only in the last few years that it is becoming a tiny winter resort. There are no difficult or long ski runs here, and there are no crowds and no hassle. Most of the skiers are lovers of peace and quiet.. Snow usually lies from November to the end of March. Calm and windless weather makes schussing a real pleasure.

ACCESS:
By car: the most comfortable road from Kraków (100 km) is the "Zakopianka" express way via Poronin, where you should take a turn to Bukowina Tatrzańska, and from there after 2 km turn to the right.
PKP: The nearest railway station is in Poronin, from where there is PKS bus service to Małe Ciche. With big luggage it is more comfortable to go via Zakopane.
